Everybody's different
We have different goals and dreams. We have different experiences with disability--and different challenges.
That's why ASSET gives personal attention to everyone we work with. Each person gets a "Navigator." A Navigator is like a personal guide. It's someone who gets to know you, learns about your situation and any special things you need to reach your goals.
Your Navigator will help you set short- and long-term goals. Then, you'll work together to come up with a plan to reach those goals.
Your plan might include joining a small group for training about managing money, finding housing that's right for you, and/or locating technology that can help you at home, school or work.
Or, you may get personal mentoring from your Navigator or someone else who has special knowledge about something important to you. It all depends on what will be the most help to you. ...Back
